This is the drier version of Hakubanishiki Brewing Company’s flagship “futsushu” (table sake), created by popular demand. Rich umami from Nagano prefecture rice meets a clean finish, resulting in an overall lighter impression. While dry, it doesn’t come off too strong, and is sturdy and refreshing at the same time. Sip it alongside hearty foods such as grilled fish, pork or steak — and don’t be afraid to play with temperature!

The story

Founded in 1906 at the foot of Nagano’s Northern Alps, Hakubanishiki Brewing Company champions “sato-zake” (hometown sake). Sourcing soft mountain spring water and rice grown within 7 kilometers of its gates, it bottles the spirit of Omachi.
