Reikyo “Absolute 0” is a product that debuted in 2018 when rice polishing ratio was still rounded down. It takes an astonishing seven months to polish the Kura no Hana sake rice, which cannot be achieved without teamwork, expertise and determination. They produce 999 bottles each year, which are packaged in handmade wooden boxes made with kumiko wood joinery. They can only make three boxes per day. The resulting liquid is of vibrant texture, depth and clarity, with a smooth finish and hints of Asian pear and honeydew.
