Torai “Rabbit” Nigori is a creamy, cloudy junmai sake inspired by fresh snowfall at the base of Mount Iwaki in Aomori. It offers a soft, smooth texture with a gentle sweetness and refreshing acidity. Aromas of muscat grape and subtle rice richness create a lively yet balanced profile. Brewed with Aomori rice and yeast, it shows a light, fluffy character with a clean finish. Best enjoyed chilled or slightly cool, it pairs well with marinated salmon, scallops, pork shabu-shabu and vegetable tempura.

The story

Tracing its roots to 1719 in Hirosaki, Aomori prefecture, Rokka Brewing Company expresses the Tsugaru region’s “joppari” spirit. Its modern Torai brand pairs local rice, Mount Iwaki spring water and Shirakami lactic acid bacteria for a true Aomori terroir.
